for some reason when i play banjo the puzzle pieces are black i dont know why because it runs smooth and my system is fast heres my specs

3.4 ghz
1 gig ram
Radeon X700 Pro Video Card, PCI Express, 256MB GDDR3

any advice

It's normal. Copy framebuffer to RDRAM if you want to see it.

Do you mean the in-game puzzle pieces or the ones you see in the start. (Those that form the screen)

For copy frambuffer to rdram to work, fsaa (anti-aliasing) must be disabled. Be advised that gameplay will be extremely slow though.
