i downloaded the emulator afew days ago and gave it a test run, and right now im playin evo 2, and even though i know it has a small amount of graphical glitches, other then that the game plays almost at full speed and high graphics, but every now and then i get an error, even though i can still play the game after the error it becomes more frequent at the beginning of the game. IO CONTROL ERROR is what i get alot of, but it doesnt crash the game or the emulator, just thought i should let you know....

Are you using Daemon Tools with a mounted image. If you are using 4.x, try reverting back to 3.29. Word has it that that particular version handles the CD emulation a bit differently, preventing IOControl Errors.

i'm actually using Alcohol 120% v1.9.5, i could re-install deamon tools. but to be honest the io error really doesnt bug me that much

The best thing for all D-Tools > 3.29 problems is using FrogASPI layer (attached) - rename FrogASPI.dll to wnaspi32.dll and copy it to your Windows\System32 folder. Set your CDRom Plugin to aspi and your problems should be gone.

im actually using Alcohol 120%, but i can try deamon tools but it doesnt really bother me as im not playing it that much due to IRL stuff

Don't use Alcohol and another ...
Recommend use Dtool 3.29 or u will get IO erro. ^^
