Avi recording issue

Hi everyone,
Whenever I try to start avi capture, i get the error message:

Audio output failure!
A call to addAudioData() (AVIStreamWrite) failed.
Perhaps you ran out of memory?

I use the video compressor ffdshow Video Codec when the option appears.
Also, Mupen64 is in the windows format, but I used wine bottler to run it on a mac.

I think Mupen's recording facilities are broken, but there's a custom build called Mupen64-rr which fixes this problem.
Whenever I try to record anything in it, it doesn't record any video at all, and I get the exact same error (Mupen64 not Mupen64-rr).
