audio trouble!

for some reason, the audio on my Zelda: Majora's Mask game has been messed up recently. in the saved game menu, there is no background music and no sound whatsoever. ingame, i hear everything but link. for example, when i do a charged spin attack, there is no sound at all, while i can hear the fairy flying around and the dog yapping. Please help!

nope. its still messed up. like, when i press start, it chops off half the sound effect and there's still no background music for save game choices and no sound effects for when i try to move the selector

actually, its not working with my other zelda game either. it must be the emulator. but i dont see why. its only been messed up for like a day.
