to start of great work on the plugin rice =D
but i seem to be running into a few problems. The game runs perfect but i get flickering textures that disappear and reappear when the screen moves as in when i run around, etc. I'm using the "to fit your card" combiner which was the default setting for the plugin and i currently have ATI Catalyst 4.2 drivers installed. i also have directX 9.0b installed as well. If anyone could i would like some help as to solving this annoyance.

(P.S. other than this the game runs perfectly smooth with no slowdown what so ever and i dont have any other problems)

I have this on a couple of games - I use Pixel Shader combiner though. Any specific examples of games this happens on for you?

so far its only happening on the banjo tooie and i wanna play it so bad lol

ive also tried other combiner modes but neither seems to fix this annoyance. As you stated ive tried the pixel shader combiner and i still get those flickering textures when i move around. perhaps there is a default setting i must change within my driver settings for my card that could possibly clear this up.

Just checked I get those probs too (like the waterfall will have glitching textures). Changing settings doesn't seem to help too much :/

Perhaps play using Jabos graphics for the time being.

awww rats lol. jabo's 1.5.1 lags every now and then after a while when i play and sometimes it just stops all together and the game freezes up and then the emu locks up and i cry cuz i didnt save my game but have a sigh of relief when the game auto saved for me.

ah well ive already tried glN64 before and i get all white for textures and a gray box around banjo's lower half and other than that i can perfectly see enemies and other people. since jabo's and Rice's work really good ill just switch between the two and weigh the differences out till i can decide on a temporary one to use until either jabo or Rice releases a new plugin ^_^

If you turn HW Framebuffer on in GL64 the textures become fine. Though oddly there is indeed a box around Banjo for me - can't remember that being there before.

/forget the above, just checked it with the 4.2 GL file rather than the ATI 3.7 one I was using previous (just for this plugin). Absoloutely hopeless with 4.2 sadly, the new (unreleased) version works fine though with 4.2 apparently.

hmmm well thanks for the help trotter =D. im glad someone else out there has been experiencing similar problems and better yet is a moderator which is a double brownie points for future ideas and fixes to be implemented in both the core and the plugins for these emulators.

woot opengl render engine with the open gl 1.4 combiner fixed ALOT of the flickering textures for me on my radeon 9000 card.

*edit* i take that back now the water gets different transparencies and its gets bright and then gets dark every now and then

I have the same card, strangely when I set perfect dark to wide video settings, the game stops glitching madly indicating this is an easy problem to fix
