Last night I opened a new thread with the title
"How do I use my existing GC discs with dolphin"
I asked the following question
"Hi Folks,
My boys have a gamecube which is plugged in to our TV. Can I play my legitimately bought GC games on the PC using Dolphin.
Cheers,
Micker."
I had a few reply's which repeatedly went along the lines of " read the rules" after which the thread was closed.
I admit that I didn't read the rules before posting. However, if (in the rules) it's stated that you cannot play legally bought gamecube games on this emulator then surely the emulator is an attemp to coerce possibly unsuspecting members of the public into breaking copyright laws.
I'm not even talking about downloading copies of games I already own or ripping my existing legal games. I ,naively, thought that it may be possible to put an already owned, legitimately purchased game in my PC's dvd drive and play it using this emulator.
As for the members who gave me the "read the rules" and "yeah read the rules" malarky. Well I have (now) read the rules and there was nothing in my original post which contravened them. Maybe these people should not judge everyone by their own low standards.
As for this thread, please feel free to respond but don't worry. I won't be back.
Cheers,
Mick.
