Anybody ever tried Dolphin in Wine?

Runing an emulator on top of an emulator is not sa smart thing to do. Ok ok, WINE is not an emulator, but the same constraints apply.

Yes, it does run. I did it yesterday, and I uploaded a video of it running SSBM:

AMD X2 4200+, 1 GB RAM, 64-bit Linux (but it's the 32-bit Dolphin). I tried getting the 64-bit Dolphin to work, it compiles but SSBM just instantly crashes, and an older SVN revision is extremely slow (around 0.1 fps :))

Actually, Dolphin 'SVN' is said to be linux compatible, however i don't know how fast it is, and if it runs at all...

But you should give it a try.

It compiles on Linux but fails to get in-game due to a bug. Wine shouldn't slow things down the way an emulator would, since all it does is intercept API calls and replace them with its implementation. There was a thread about running it on Wine just a couple weeks ago.
