another one of those linux questions

What's that...?
I have a question before i install Linux. Will i be able to play my media files (mp3's, mpegs, etc) that are on my windows partition from linux?? If not, is there a way that i can play my media files on both linux and windows? can i put them on a seperate partition? thanks

You can mount your Fat32/ntfs (Windows) partition in linux, then you can view your media files from there.

how do i go about mounting it? or is that something i do after i install linux?

if u are using kde as window manager you can create a shortcut on your desktop to mount devices easily

if you install Mandrake you can setup your mount points at install very easily, i donno about other distros

well i'l be installing mandrake, just waiting for 9.0 final, so i guess im in luck, eagle, ill check out that link too

Something you might consider useful, I always mount my windows partitions as /c /d /e /f, etc, in linux, easier to know what you have where that way.
