Animated Avatars

Argh... Why I can't upload an animated GIF? It's not too large. Can you tell me, why I can't upload any animated GIFs?

They seem to have been disabled sometime since I last updated mine which was months ago (I tried changing mine to an animated Stewie Griffin) Maybe it's not such a bad thing as animations are distracting... matter of fact I think I'll drop mine soon!

My avatar is of an old man I found while searching the internet about four years ago. I added some animation in later when I figured out how to do it.

Animated avatars are enabled and working (I just tested), you just have to stick below the limit of 40 kB. Hmm time for an avatar change methinks.

Oh no...

I'm using Easy GIF Animator (because I didn't find anything else) and made the animated avatar. But, it's filesize is 5,13 kb. Images size is 38x40. So do you have any GIF animators what can save it with smaller filesize? The image should be 16 bit image.

I just tried to upload one that was 16K in size, and got the standard vBulletin message, so they aren't working for me.
