Ok, lets just put it this way, this morning, i was getting ready for my daily run at about 7:00. I lean over to stretch and I cough and spit, while this Ryder truck(some mass transit 'rent-a-truck' dealership type thing) drivers by with the driver mocking me doing the same thing and then yelling something at me, I check to see if he spit on my car(ooo i would have been ticked if he did) he didn't, but he saw me looking, so he took a U-turn down my street and came back. So i went back inside cause i had no idea what he would do. Like 30 min's later after my run, I found two cop cars around the ryder truck with people telling the cops about how they took some tools out of their garage.

Ok, basically, these were guys that high-jacked a car, didn't have a license, had weed on them, and had dozens of stolen property in the back of their truck. How did they get caught? Right after they were done stealing those tools they went around the corner and parked in front of another house to do the same thing! Idiots, cause a neighbor saw them and called the cops. With our legal system though they'll be back on the streets in no time, but O well!

One of the stupidist criminals I heard was this one:

He broke into a well known Electronics store at night, and decided that in order for him not to get caught, he would obscure all of the security cameras. The trouble is, the idiot went up to each one and placed a bag over it - bare in mind he did this without wearing a balaclava of any sort, and you kinda see how stupid it was

The newspapers the next week had pictures of this man doing his robbery, and his amazing feat to escape detection by all but the rewind button on the VCR!

Also a criminal in Chester where I live, tried to hold up the Principality Building Society, he leaned over the counter and demanded money. Of course, these counters had the shutter that once a button is pressed, it shoots up and protects the counter staff from the assailent. However, he leaned over too far, and got caught by the shuter as it came up This had the effect of leaving the hapless criminal pinned against the ceiling by his neck (the staff had to support his legs until the Police got there). Surely the easiest nick they will ever have! Must have been well embarrassing for the Robber as well, haha

A recent story from Russia : A guy came to his friend`s house, and wanted to watch some world cup. Well, the other guy said no. So, the dude took a knife out, stabbed the other guy, threw him out of the window, and sat down to watch the game.
When the cops came, he said : "I would`ve missed the entire game because of the asshole".

I heard this one on the radio.

A guy runs a red light at a photo enforced intersection, naturally the camera catches him in the act. A few days later he recieves a picture of his car and a ticket for $50. The guy decides to be a smart ass and lays out $50 on a table and takes a picture of it and sends the picture and the ticket back to the courthouse. A few days later the guy recieves the ticket again and a picture of a pair of handcuffs.

Needless to say, they got their money.
