All-Star Baseball 2000 and 2001

I have a problem with All-Star Baseball 2000 and 2001 as the rom freezes during a game, randomly and no way to recover (Pause and Unpause trick doesn't work)

This problem has already be mentionned in other topics, but i can't find any solution given whereas some people seem to run those roms without any problem on PJ64 1.6.

Is there any specific configuration for PJ64 1.6 to run those roms or anything esle that i could do to enjoy those roms (those games rock from the few innings i was able to play!)
