Adaptoid useage

Hi.


I've searched through all the posts concerning the Adaptoid and I haven't found a satisfactory answer to my question. I use Project64 v1.5, the game I'm playing is Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 (J), both rom and emulator work perfectly.


This may be a dumb question, but...


Could someone please tell me how to make my Adaptoid read my Memory Card so that I can upload my created wrestlers onto my emulated game?


The readme.txt file implies that I can upload ".n64" files (which I have lots of, thanks to my DexDrive) onto my Adaptoid. But I can't drag them into the special Adaptoid folder; it says that there was an error because the file wasn't properly formatted, or something to that regard. So maybe I can't do it this way.


I tried dragging the game data from my Memory Card onto my computer, which created an ".a64" file (so far so good, according to readme.txt). But my emulated game or Project 64 doesn't recognize it. Is it in the wrong folder? Could my Adaptoid be defective in some way?


Any help would be greatly appreciated. I thank you for your time and patience.

Not entirely sure here, but I'm pretty sure you need an input plugin that can detect the adaptoid and your memcard. I have adaptoids, but no memcards, so I've never tried to figure this out. Sorry.

Every time I tried to install the Adaptoid drivers, various error messages kept coming up regarding mouse/keyboard options and missing .dll files. The plugin wasn't working right, lots of little things frustrated me. Eventually, after several attempts and reboots I got the plugin to work and the Adaptoid to read my card, so now I can do what I need. Whoo hoo!

Assuming you figured out how to read the forum again after your ban, I will answer this. You will find it soldered to the circuit board on a Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 cartridge.

Hey everyone,


Could someone clarify this for me? In the readme.txt file, is says that you can add information onto the special ".a64-notes" section when you move files from the adaptoid to your computer. Is there such a special section or is it simply referring to the "summary" area when you right-click an .a64 file and select "Properties"?
