Though I am not quite an athiest, I do sympathise for the shit they have to put up with I always catch flak everytime I tell a religious nut that the greater half of the book of genesis is completely false.

Well AlphaWolf of course not everything in the Genesis book is true, I'm christian and I know that, the creation process described there is just a literary expression, remember that scientifist knowlodge was very low at that time.

Well, its not that realy, its that there are certain things in genesis which directly contradict both each other, and well known (proven) facts of the modern day. It's pretty much an impossibility realy.

There are too many examples where the bible contradicts itself, not only in the Genesis book, the important thing are the good lessons that are in the bible, even me when I was atheist I readed the bible, no matter if you don't believe in God or not, you can't say that there are not good things on the bible, or in any religion.
