I've used emu's for a while now and I'd say PJ64 is the best along with 1964. I want to make a suggestion/criticism though.
Recently I tried to enter in Gameshark codes. Not one code, but entering mass codes with the paste method. A friend was telling me that he was able to, yet I couldn't see how to do this. After looking and looking, I used the link in the manual to get into the emucheats website. From there I found the necessary steps to find the pj64 cheat window where I could easily enter code by pasting them. There must be a more straightforward method for entering cheats and or finding the add cheats window.
What seems like a simple solution to this difficulty would be to have a default where the advanced options are not hidden. Right clicking isn't the most obvious answer also. Understand I do have some experience using emu's. I just believe you should in fact make the interface much more user friendly.
PJ64 does have by far the best support in terms of a manual about the different functions. I suppose a lot of what I say is based on whether or not the authors care about the user friendly aspect. I just think for anyone who is new to emulators, they will struggle setting it up. I just think that as the online aspect improves there will be many more people joining the emu scene. It's just not that easy trying to set up an emu since there are so many setting and plugins to consider.
Anyways thanks for the great emu.
