Michelle Branch is an awesome singer. She can play the guitar, piano, and writes her own lyrics, and has a great voice. She is honest with her music and she has good messages powerful voice if i must say. She has great songs like, Everywhere, All You Wanted (her favorite song btw), and Goodbye To You. She and Santana did a song together called "Game of Love". Santana played the high pitched guitar like he always does and Michelle of course also played the guitar which was part of the melody.
She has other great songs also that weren't released in singles Sweet Misery, You Set Me Free, I'd Rather Be In Love, and If Only She Knew. All her songs are great. The name of her current album is "The Spirit Room". The album was named the spirit room because the recording studio was like a spirit room to her. Her next album is coming out this April. Her music has been separated from other pop singers such as Britney Spears, or Christina Aguilera, because she plays the guitar and writes her own lyrics, so in my opinion her music is anything but pop.
Other +'s of Michelle. She absolutely loves her fans. She actually takes some time to "lurk" around at the mbmb boards (http://boards.michellebranch.net), and she loves it when her fans support her much. She has a great personality and sense of humor. She cheers up her audience at promos with some joking around before she performs. Something I have to add is she has a great smile.
Her full name is Michelle Jacquet Branch. She was born at New Mexico during a road trip her parents were having. Her home town is Sedona, AZ. She was born July, 2 1983. She started singing since she was a little kiddie. She started playing guitar at the age of 14 and wrote Sweet Misery around their too. Her favorite past times are writing, swimming, rollerblading, anything music related, and bowling.
