A little help please!

Hello all, a nice new noob here needing assistance.

I've been using several other emulations for quite a while, but decided to try out Chankast so i could play Marvel Vs Capcom 2. I have been able to obtain the game from several different places; however, each one reacts the same way.

The intro of "Capcom" works just fine, but then the other text becomes square and unreadable. The game continues to run, however everything seems broken. It is difficult to describe, but the background is low tech pixelated and the characters are basically randomly shifting squares and triangles. I know this is a crappy description, and i would post a screenshot, but unfortunately i cannot attach the picture for some reason.

If anyone has any helpful suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Or if anyone wants to try to post the picture that i'm having difficulty with, or needs to see it, leave an e-mail address and i'll send it to you.

Thank you for your time all.
Hope for a helpful response.

Alright; at this point, i'm going to portray a little ignorance.

I checked around other posts and found that someone a few posts down was also having problems with 2D imaging with their computer for this game as well. A reply to that post stated that the problem was the graphics card.

This is where my own ignorance comes into play. I have an Intel Graphics Media Accellerator 900 (I believe that is the graphics card, or i'm just an idiot; which i don't necessarily discount). If this is not an acceptable graphics card, could someone give me a suggestion of one that would be good, or if this should work, can anyone explain why it does not.

Thank you for any helpful information.

Thank you for the help man. I'll look into it. Don't know if I have the funds for any type of upgrade at this point... especially just to play a game.

But I thank you for your quick and helpful response. Unfortunately, I think I'll just have to stick with MAME Games for a while.

Tried the adaptin driver downloads. They did not work either :( I don't know if there are certain options and processes I need to go through on them, but I re-tried everything, and have had not luck.

Thank you axcc123 for the help.

I'll check back later after trying some other games and things. Any other suggestions or advice would be helpful. Thank you.

You won't get Chankast working with that integrated graphics chip and 9 times out of 10 updating the drivers doesn't help. Chankast is extremely picky and basically needs a good graphics card to display everything correctly (yes, even 2D graphics).
