They are wasting our money...but then again, that comes natural to the US government, doesn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but patents stop when you leave the US, right? Anyway, spam is here to stay, and we can't do anything about it...comforting, isn't it?

Patents these days really depend on the company involved, companies that sue over IP infringement purely for profit (ie they have no real products) are the ones that really get me riled. :angry:

How are they wasting our money? AT&T is wasting their own money. The government doesn't bear any costs when they approve a patent, thats what patent fees are for. AT&T just got a nice useless patent, woopdee do nothings changed.

lol. Like patents or rights mean anything in the digital world, anyway (comparatively speaking). The old axiom holds true... "Locks only keep the honest people out."
