I find it amusing to say the least when I see how ppl get attached to what really must be complete strangers to them, a bunch of names on a short list. Why would you trust someone after half an hour of talk, give or take a month
? What is this trust based on? How often have you been lied to in real life? What ist hte likelihood of this happening with a non-entity over the internet (let's face it, if I sent you a picture of my gay room-mate and told yoit was my father you wouldn't be able to know the difference
) Just wondering because eg. I've noticed how eagerly some ppl will jump to someone else's defense, barely knowing the context of the argument. Kinda like a reflex.
It's just that when I was a teen and apart from some phone and bbs there was no www, no irc/messenger buddies etc. you either had friends for whom, if need be, you'd get your teeth kicked in, or you didn't.
