64 bit Optimizations in 1.0?

Are they currently any plans to release a version of 1.0 with 64 bit optimizations? I ask because obviously 64 bit is the future, but also the zsnes author ipher just released a 64 bit version that I have been playing around with, and I must say its outstanding. So any 64 bit plans for 1964?

I paid $449.00 exactly for the mainboard, CPU, RAM, Case, 3 case fans, and 350 Watt power supply.

I think 64-bit optimizations are kind of pointless when the top 32-bit processors can run any game at full speed. Optimizations for the computers that can't run the emulator yet make more sense, IMHO. Like AMDK6-2 support. Personally I'd like Banjo-Kazooie to run on my P2 350Mhz laptop ;)
