3DFX Card

Does anybody recommend a graphics card that I can put in my PCI slot in my computer? Im sick of my stock piece of crap!! I want my N64 emulators to graphically look and sound good!

my advice for a PCI graphics card would be a Geforce 4 MX, it is the most powerful PCI card available at the moment to my knowlege.

depends on the kind of stock crap u r using (hey, dont call 3dfx names!) ... is it a v2 or v3 and up? if v3 and up put the geforce in its place coz u cant use it anyway.

If your PC is >700Mhz - buy GF4 (i've heard something 'bout GF4Ti PCI, it's much better than that piece of sh.t called MX420 which worse than GF3)
If you have 700MHz or less and <256Mb RAM - buy Voodoo5 5500
(works ok with Jabo's plugin, and insanely fast with Glide64 and some other glide stuff (Lewpy's PSX plugin, ZiNc, Unreal/UT and it's only chance to play Undying without slowdowns)


If you have two monitors buy both cards - Excellent OpenGL and D3D from GF
and super fast Glide from V5.
