I've heard one couple payed over a million dollars to the group for them to clone their dead son and ended up suing the group in courts.

DNA tests don't exactly happen overnight with our current technology. I don't see how they could possibly know whether or not the baby is a clone yet, iirc it takes longer than a week to run the chemical saturation tests, so the proof is still yet to come, if it is true.

Yeah I just saw that. They were going to go through with it at first, but a florida judge or D.A. or something (not sure which) decided they would take custody of the baby if it was in fact cloned, so the mother refused to do this, however later she decided to take 48 hours to decide, which will end the day after tommorow iirc. I anticipate if it is the truth, a DNA test will be performed within the next month, be it on this particular child in question, or the other one that was born yesterday to the lesbo couple in norway. The US isn't the only place where its possible to perform DNA tests, so the limitations on medical research and development set forth by our laws shouldn't be a good enough excuse for them to hold back.
EDIT: You know, theres something I thought I would add here for the religious types. The bible doesn't say anywhere that you can't do anything that god does, if you interpret it that way, then under your logic, if god exists, we aren't allowed to exist. The bible only says that you can't replace god, or put yourself above god. Cloning does not do this. And another thing, according to god, nobody is supposed to live more than 120 years, its clearly written in genesis 6:3. Nowadays, given the changes in the earths revolution around the sun, thats our equivalent to 118 years, and currently theres a person living who is 135 years. So, we already have defied god in that respect, unless you want to believe that if you live longer than 120 years, you automaticaly go to hell, because technicaly that is a very direct sin since you went against a rule set by god himself.

BTW, when the clone grows up, and understands what he/she is, I wouldn't blame them for being suicidal.
