Here is the game proper - ignore the speed (I had the limiter off in this shot)...

This game works fine, sounds fine, doesn't have any noticeable glitches, and your character can move - yet it is unplayable (at the moment at least)... cryptic? you betcha

Nah you can do both of those things ;) sorta I don't/can't really go into it though, just at the moment it isn't playable.

The speed is just inconsistent, it goes too fast, but it also goes slow as well. I have observed in the past that the character you are playing also moves in a awkward speed, some plugins also have made the character look like hes walking backwards, (PS: trying going over bridges, at least in my version it looks really funny, thats the U ! version).
other than that, it is good to see that "Greece" pictures are coming out pretty good.

Not really the issue here :) the speed is consistent. Be it fast or be it slow, the speed doesn't fluctuate.

I of course am assuming you are using the 0.9.9 version, which is good. It shouldnt here when the new version is available, I doubt with my somewhat slower processor than yours that there will be speed issues.

I am using the very latest version (of course) and their are issues (not speed issues per se) - so don't bank on it being playable. However I am not saying it won't be fixed. Seems like this game is pretty difficult to emulate.

Id say it has about the same timing issues as DK64 does, just that no one really works on it as it is not really a well known game

I love that the speed stays close to fullspeed now on my system because it shows how great 1964 is progresing:)

Trotterwatch said it was nearly perfect in almost every game, if things keep going like this 1964 is for sure the ultimate emulator (not that it wasn´t before).

So... how´s the beta testing going? Too many bugs so far???

From what I hear almost all of the bugs have been solved, it goes fast, and the 2 new (Rice's Video, and Schibos audio) are great. There still isnt a release date (my personal feeling is now that they are working on language translations for the emulator that it should be soon, but then again Ive thought soon since October)

From what I hear ( im not a beta tester guys for those who dont know) it is basically the very little played games that still need to be weeded out (ie Body Harvest, yes Trotterwatch I cant think of any better example).
