1964 1.0???

I remember once upon a time not only 2 years ago, there were floating rumors of a newer version of 1964 that was to be called 1964 1.0.
Its been 2 years and my brain is itching to know if that was merely a rumor.

i dunno too... but v0.99 was released in early january of 2004
