The game is Mario 64. The emulation -at the beginning is good - and fast- but, soon - and this happen with other games that I have tried to run just when it passes the screen of welcome of the game - it's me, Mario - it appears that message

Haven't had that problem, but can you tell us what video plugin you are using (RiceVideo, RiceDaedalus, Jabo's Direct3D, etc.)? System specs probably wouldn't hurt either, but I'm not sure I'll be able to help you in that area-maybe someone else can. (To determine system specs, go to Start, then Run, then type dxdiag

If you're using the US version, you could always try the European version..... I would only do that as a last resort though...

please post complete system settings (processor, memory, videocard, videocard driver version, etc) and ricedaedalus version. you can try rice video 5.51 WIP.
see if your rom is good (using cowering's good tools).

If you are using Rice with onboard graphics you might have a problem.

My laptop has onboard graphics and don't like the rice plugins at all and get error message like the one you have.

I would use a diffrent plugin to rice and see if it works better.
