1080 snowborading - black screen after mountain village

Hi,

Before all, i want to apologize for my bad english. I hope you will understand my problem.

So, i try to terminate "1080 snowboarding" but i have a crash at the end of "Blue square" level, exactly i have a black screen just after the last race ("Mountain village")

Please help !

Here my setting:
- project64 1.5 (I can't start the game with project 1.6)
- ROM : 1080 Snowboarding (E) ! M4 (I obtain the same proble with JU rom)
- video pulgin : Jabo 3D6 1.5.1
- Audio plugin : Jabo directsound 1.5

this game should be on protect memory, and turn Linking=Off,
but i recommend you use v1.6 and the current beta RDB.
this should work correctly.
select the v1.5.2 video plugin if you want.

1080 snowborading doesn't start with project 1.6, i don't have any image, i have a black screen ...

I suggest you: check your roms are good if you haven't scanned with GoodN64 then do so. you can find it on the Download Section under Goodn64 Section.

I would also check you have latest DX and Best GFX drivers for your card.

Also if the Problem persists i would back up any saves and input profiles you have then uninstall PJ64 1.6 and then reinstall.

Erm could you do a normal scan so we see the Name. I think you performed a Deep scan there. What Region was that? The E or JU ?

Ok use either goodGUI or GoodWindows you can get them from the Download Section/GoodN64. Also if you need help performing a simple rename also download my Tutorials for either one. Btw my Good E dont come out like yours in Quite or Deep Scan

The point is to verify it - which is what is done with a GoodN64 rename. The stuff you posted is as much goobledegook to us as it is to you.

For the record, 1080 works brilliantly for me in PJ64 1.6 + Default plugins + Beta RDB.

Just do a rename please. I seriously believe you have a bad rom. As both my Deep and Quite scans do not match the info you pasted.

If you are not sure how to rename then just use the Window Front end and follow the tutorial.

it would seem that some bad plugins are the source of my problems ..

ok so what you thought was E is now JU thats the reason to make sure you Rename scan with Goodn64, And yes as i said if all else failed then reinstall so glad it is working for you now.

Hi guys,

I have the exact same problem ravaillac described, but I'm not quite sure I understand how to solve it. I downloaded GoodWindows, GoodN64, and a bin file , as well as the tutorial, but I wasn't quite sure what I was doing, I just downloaded a whole bunch of stuff.

Tell me if you need anymore additional information.

If you are using GoodWIndows download GoodWindows GoodN64 Tutorial and follow it. If you are using GoodGUI download GoodGUI GoodN64 Tutorial and follow it. If you use either before you download anything else you cant go wrong as they are both simulations and interactive that make you do it yourself. there seriously isnt anything not to get.
