Hey, I was wondering if any of you know how to create an 8bit surface in DirectDraw? My code always fails. Do you have to do something special to create it? I always used the method commonly used for making 16 and 32 bit surfaces. Thanks.

For some reason, I cant get any of my cds to boot with satourne. All I ever get is the BIOS cd player and it always says that the CD is unusable or wrong format or something like that. I make sure that I load the CD first before trying to run it. Any ideas? Thanks.

hey everyone, I'm playing Castlevania64 on 1964 and I can't save my progress on the game. Whenever I start the game, it says that the memcard is not connected using the US and Europe versions. The japanese version the memory card works fine and is recognized by the game. What's going on here...
