Xbox 360 Control Pad Calibration problem

Hello!

Forgive me if this has been asked, but I cannot seem to find an answer (and I have exhausted many different ways of phrasing it)

I am having a problem with calibrating/binding the controller buttons. Every time I click on a button to bind, it automatically fills out (JOY0_ANL2_KEY) as if I had been pressing it, which I was not. I can get it to bind the other buttons if I press them while also clicking on the key, however, in game the right trigger (which is what the JOY0_ANL2_KEY is) is indeed stuck. I have tried calibrating it multiple times both in windows, and XBCD where it works just fine, and have only had this same issue with epsxe and that has the left trigger sticking, but not depressed, the opposite axis (where as depressing it should be negative (even though it is set up as positive in XBCD) when no buttons are pressed, it comes up as reading positive. Everything else (including the right trigger and analogs) work fine here too. And all of my other emulators work just fine.
I am currently using a Wired Xbox 360 controller (official) with the XBCD Driver. I have also tried an Xbox Controller S with adapter and XBCD, and get the exact same results.

I am not sure if this is related, but I had noticed that when I first started up the Xbox360 control emu that came with XBCD, the right trigger was "stuck", but when fiddling with the axis, and changing them to different ones (like the XBCD had them set) and setting them to half, it would work just fine, in the 360 emu, while everywhere else seems to not notice any changes at all.

I would appreciate any help at all!

Thanks!

use an emulator that isn't demul

Fair enough.

Tried NullDC, and it sticks on A0-. I can map all the other buttons, however. Just no analog stick. Although in game it does not read any buttons at all.

I also need to check my settings, but it is also really jerky when playing pre-rendered movies (I cannot tell game play, seeing as I cannot get through the menus.)

in nulldc's case, you can use pokopom.

Now, I am currently trying that, and I have a quick question. Since pokopom is Xinput, I would have to use the Xbox360ce program to use it, right? (since I am using XBCD and it uses direct input.)

When it says to run the Xbox360ce from the game directory, would I have to use the plugin folder for pokopom? I am trying this, but I cannot seem to get nulldc/pokopom to read the controller.
