I would like to get close to the original N64 image quality on the LCD monitor. I need two tricks. First is sweetfx + preset.
Install Steps :
. Download SweetFX 1.3 or above and extract it into 1964 directory,
. Download http://www.mediafire.com/?pwhbv1qr5qclgvq, extract it into the directory where you already have your SweetFX_settings.txt (this will add CRT.H and overwrite your Main.h in the Shaders sub-folder)
. Check the new CRT Settings section in the SweetFX_settings.txt, for instance you can disable curvature by setting CRTCurvature to 0.
It works only with dx9 video plugin.
We need also ability to stretch the native resolution into window size. In hi-res IQ is far from original. But we don't have plugin with such feature.
