Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3000 MHz
RAM: 768 MB
Graphics card: Ati Radeon 9550, 256 MB

is that with possible to use SSBME with an FPS of 12 or above?

Thanks for responses

I've already tested it, it goes 5 FPS ingame, depending on the scenerio (for example, Mushroom: Mushroom kingdom goes at 7-9 FPS ), but it doesnt matters, i buyed a gamecube from ebay for 20,70€ , and if i find SSBM i will also buy it, as you sayed guys, the better solution is to buy a GC, thanks all :)

For me, emu isn't about getting games for free. For me, emu is interesting.

For example, when a GC emulator comes out that can run games at full FPS, I'll be excited, but it will be for the accomplishment of the programmers - not because I'll finally be able to play my favourite GC games on my computer.

Well, it really depends. It's possible that if you have a 64-Bit Pentium 4, and you install a 64-Bit Operating System like Windows XP64, that with future releases of the 64-Bit Dolphin you might get some decent speeds.

Only the future will tell, though.

Hello? Where are you from? Pentium 4 64-bit (did that even exist?) is ancient history.
You would do well with an Athlon 64 or Intel's Core Duo. Of course, we'll see how well those perform with the newer version when and if we get our hands on it.

Yes, Intel slipped some 64-Bit Pentium 4's onto the market somewhat silently back in it's day. I don't think they're too common, but they exist.

If you remember, from the x64 build running on Knuckle's machine, he gets decent framerate, and well, it's not a beast or anything.

I didn't tell him to go out and upgrade, because thats entirely up to him, and thats not what he is asking, he asked if Dolphin will run on his machine.

Yeah, but I'd presume that Knuckles would have an Athlon 64 or Core Duo. Pretty much everyone who has 64-bit do.
But using a 64-bit Pentium 4 for comparison is a bit weird. P4 as you know, were pretty crappy.

True, but they do have some processing power, especially if overclocked. Not as much as an Athlon64 for gaming, and nowhere near as much as a Core 2 Duo in anything.

Even so, I'm seeing the legacy systems on here still handle some games as well as Athlon64 processors. It's really dependent on Dolphin's programming and not so much the hardware right now. (Not saying hardware isn't a part of it.)

...And are power hungry.

The point was that when it comes to 64-bits, you'd compare to Athlon 64 or Core 2 Duo.

True, but I'm just saying, if he has a 64-Bit capable Pentium 4, then he can use a 64-Bit OS and hopefully gain some speed. GameCube emulation is still pretty young. Just give it some time, and I wouldn't be surprised if we saw GameCube emulators running on legacy hardware in the future. It happened with PSX emulation, so it's possible it will happen with GameCube too.
