Hi everybody I have just joined the forum and I can't wait to play a game I am downloading (Zelda WW) hopefully it'll work but in the meantime...
How would one expect will the emulator run on my computer with these specs:
AMD Athlon 2800+ @ 2.08ghz
2 * 512 PC2700 Corsair RAM (1 gig)
PNY GeForce 6600 GT AGP 128mb
80 gig HD @ 7200 rpm
The typical type of response I would not appreciate and does not help anyone (because if I ask how will it run YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
:
or
and most notoriously annoying of all---->
and so on...
YES we all know that Dolphin will run extremely slowly almost always *blah blah blah insert sentence to crush all hope of getting emulator working at all here* Yes I would know - after reading Seierco's numerous slightly unhelpful posts. (Not meaning to offend)
And YES I have read the FAQ
Please do not lecture me ^^ unless completely necessary.
IF you must call me a n00b get it out of your system at the beginning of the post, otherwise, don't reply at all.
If you choose to ignore me completely and reply in any of the above ways I will be very upset... and perhaps would have to go on a flaming tantrum. So please do not upset me.
The type of response I would appreciate:
How it would run COMPARED with others. (i.e. would I be able to play it like most people or less smooth than most people).
Thank you very much for all your helps!!
PS: SORRY for my bad english.

Actually, you are missing something rather imortant to getting Dolphin to run full speed. Your CPU is far, far to slow. From what I've seen and heard, even if you had a 5ghz CPU, it wouldn't be nearly enough. I'm fairly certain that you need something closer to 7ghz CPU (probably faster) to run full speed. Next time, try reading the FAQ, as questions like this are often addressed in there.
Sorry, but if you were expecting to actually play GC games, you came to the wrong place. That's why they sell Gamecubes in the stores. Hopefully, they sell them for cheap enough that buying one is a viable option. Mouser X over and out.
