i wanted to know if my actual dreamcast can play burnt games, apparently you can find the date on your console when it was manufactured. On mine it doesnt say that it, it has like a bar code, so i just wondered if anybody could help me?

He wasn't asking about how to burn images, he was asking whether or not his Dreamcast is able to read backups as is.

IIRC, all Dreamcast models manufactured before September 2000 (or somesuch) should work.

yeah thanx it does work, but my actual dreamcast console keeps resetting itself sometimes, do you know any way of repairing it?

i couldnt tell you in detail, but i know one reason it may do that
make sure that the vent on the system is uncovered, and it is recommended not to put it on anything soft while running, like a carpet, instead put it on a hard table, or it might overhead

yeah i have it on carpet! (i'll change that asap!)

if u mean a program that converts pal to ntsc, i suppose it should work, tho i've never heard of anything like that before lain:
give it a shot, but if u want to be careful, try burning it to a CD-RW so u can erase it if it doesnt work

You've never heard of an NTSC <-> PAL switcher? Now you know that such things exist.

Those converters are programs. They are usually game-specific Just use Google to search.
