I get short 'clicks' in the sound which is a little annoying,
is there any way of getting rid of this?
I have a sound blaster live! and directx 8 running under windows xp

Maybe we should ask him what his specs are before being so presumptuous as to tell him that his machine is under the minimum requirements...

my specs are:-

512 mg ram
pentium III 1.6 ghz
sound blaster live!
nvidia 3 graphics

Those should do the trick. Try Jabo's 1.5, it's more accurate but requires some extra CPU Power (you have more than enough), assuming you mean Pentium IV (there was no P3 1.6ghz :))

u can oc a 1ghz p3 to 1.6 with water cooling but thats out of the question... change your settings or try something else. jabos sound is very good

If using Jabo's audio plugin

*Enable* "Sync game to audio", and the audio will be smooth
and wont slowdown, unless your processor is under 700 mhz.
