I guess you haven't seen Halflife2 benchmarks where the Radeon9500+ is about twice as fast as any GeforceFX card?

Maybe you didn't hear all the stuff about nVidia cheating in 3dmark?

The only nVidia product that I will partake in is nForce2.

i guess you didn't know half-life 2 is vaporware.

I guess you didn't know that I've already ran it on my PC...

you and everyone else on the internet who isn't living under a rock. doesn't change the fact that it wont be out for 2 video card cycles at the very least.

but i'm sure you saw how the fx is twice as fast as the radeon in doom 3.

At my friend's home, I have also seen HL².

It runs faster on an Radeon 7500 than on an GF 4...

And Doom III Alpha: runs perfectly on any card with shaders support, but not with any older card... 3-4 FPS.

Note: My friend deleted them both after some days - comment: "Both won't be out for a while."

I've seen a lot of people think that so I just added it in so there wouldn't be any questions about it.

In a test where the FX uses a special low precision path while the Radeon uses full precision. Also, the Radeon uses the generic OpenGL path, while FX uses a custom coded path.

Also, on Halflife2, Radeon was running the default DX9 path, while FX was using a custom designed DX8-ish path, and still running much slower.

I've seen an ATI Radeon 9800 XT get poor frame rates on Halo for the PC running on a P4 3.0 ghz with 1 gb of PC3200 Corsair DDR running in dual channel, as far as I am concerned ATI and Nvidia are no different except that Nvidia's OpenGL support is far better

Wow, what resolution was HALO running exactly?

Because even Anand got a good frame rate out of the Radeon.

This is going off-topic...
The guy just asked the emu authors about the geforce 4 "problem".
It was not its intention to start a stupid war of fanATIcs vs nVidiots!!!
