Wii Region lock

I heard that the Wii will have no 1st party region lock. (From Lik-Sang) Is that true to any extent?

P.S. (also heard from Lik-Sang) Wii is coming out in the Us before it does in Japan.

Region lock will be there. This was a false statement from Nintendo.
Yes, it will be released in USA first, then Japan, then Europe.
