Whoa, Chrono Trigger remake!?

I guess a group of people think that they can remake Chrono Trigger. It's supposedly going to be on the PC then sent to developers for the XBox and GCN. *shrug* Seems a little too ambitious to me but what do I know? Here is a link to the site and one of the in game screens. Think it'll ever fly? I mean, look at the guy who was going to remake Ocarina of Time with Link to the Past graphics.

lol They are not remaking Chrono Trigger, it is going to be a 10 Scene PC Demo that re creates what they feel are the best 10 scenes from the original SNES game that will be released to the public for around Christmas 2004

It's explained on the site forums, in the rules and faq thread. Check question 2:

Q2. Will you be making the entire game? If not, why not?

A2. No, currently we are only planning 10 of some of the best scenes from Chrono Trigger. Why not? Because we do not have the resources to complete a game of this magnitude by ourselves. The project would never be completed.

I can't get into the site, but I wish they would remake the whole game. Chrono Trigger was the first rpg I actually played through and finished and it's still one of my favorites.
