OK, before I go off back to work and then home to wallow in self-pity at how my teenage years of young girls and hardcore drugs are over, allow me to give you some advice:

Why not try something a little more simple and stable such as PJ64, and since you have an older video card i'd suggest the Glide64 (w/ eVoodoo) plugin. Here's what you do:

Download PJ64 1.5
Download Glide64 3.1WIP
Download eVoodoo 3.25

Install PJ64 (auto-installer)
unextract Glide64 to the PJ64 "plugins" directory
put your roms in the PJ64 "roms" directory
put eVoodoo into PJ64's main directory

Run PJ64. Go to options->settings
select glide from the video plugin select list
Go to options->graphics settings
Set the option currently set to "Z-Buffer" to "W-Buffer."

Go to file->open and enjoy your game.
