Note this is a good thing but the cost is likely to be a deterent. (Notice the guy talks about military apps sheesh.)
Actually I would love to have one of these for verifying the timing on an Oscilloscope as well as syncing the computers on the network to precise time and verifying the time on embedded system clocks.. I can think of plenty of uses (each more geeky than the last).
