"Tile Textures" in mario party

Dear co-users. I have been trying to get good graphics in mario party. Unfortunately I don't quite succeed.

I very happy with the result of rice's 5.6.0.0 (fix 4) on my GeForce 6800... apart from one "little" problem. The 2D backdrop textures are obviously tiled often with seams in between them. I don't know what to do about it, I changed virtually every option. I use the directx renderer because the opengl renderer doesn't give me anything good (missing characters, ...)

Does anybody know what exactly to do about it?

I also tried direct64 (I can't access the control panel of it) and gl64. I don't get the tiles when I disable "force bilinear textures" in gl64, but then the game doesn't look as nice... :(
