Agree. So audio plugin should use buffer to cache incoming stream.

Smiff, you have not answered this question yet. I am still getting sync in PJ64 if I am using Azimer's and have audio sync options off in Azimer's plugin. Are you sure PJ CPU core does not have sync function?

The problem is, Rice, not only are the plugins having an option to sync the the game to the audio, they are requiring it for good audio.. again I'm not pointing fingers, just desperately hoping you can make some progress here when people in my camp don't seem to be too... interested ;)

I have this nasty feeling its just not possible to make an emulator accurate enough to get what I want and some people seem to expect... too far abstracted from the hardware pulse

Azimer, Zilmar or Jabo need to be here so they can tell why Audio is still choppy when the vi speed is already sync to 50/60.
