super dual box pro

I'm using a super dual box pro and a playstation 2 controller for my emus and it works for everything but proj64. when i go to the controller plugin menu and click the button to change a key, and press up or down or whatever, it doesnt register at all. is there another controller plugin or is there some trick to this that other people have figured out? thanks

edit: I apologize, I didnt realize i could search the forum, i did a search and found a solution. sorry everybody
