Hey all. I'm trying to find some good prices on quality LCDs for replacements of my old monitors. The monitors are still fairly new, but my room as been heating up like a sauna from the heat emmission of a 19", 15" and a flood lamp.

The problem I face is that I have no background knowledge of what are good statistics for an LCD monitor. Now, I'm talking LCD - flatpanel, not flatscreen. And the whole point is that I believe the flat panels do not generate nearly as much heat as these giant ones I'm using now.

What I do not want is to end up with one of those really cheap-o monitors where you see your mouse blurring accross the screen. I'm looking for some nice 19" and 15" replacements. Build-in speakers is a bonus and a must for the 15". Any other widgets are optional for the 19", but I'm really aiming for something cost-effective.

Input would be appreciated. Statistical as in what is good and what is bad, and oppinions/experience.

Thanks.
