Street Fighter 3rd strike not working

Ive managed to navigate myself through many a problem, such as the disc not loading, the fact its cdi, and so forth.

Now ive finally got the game to run then it gives me a black screen followed by the "windows needs to close this program for no apparent reason" error. you know the one.

I also get this error the second i try to initialize anything using chankast_alpha_capcom_hack or chankast_alpha_new_gfx

Im using the right version of daemon, have tried a combination of diffrent settings, but to no avail.

edit: ive gotten ikaruga, mvc2 and a few other games to work

please help.

Is there a reason why you are not using Chankast Alpha 0.25 but instead 0.2a? 0.25 works fine here. Also, if an emulator gives you the "windows needs to close this program..." message, the problem *usually* won't get fixed by simply adjusting a few settings.

yeah, im trying to get a whole new rom, but its hard to find any.

anyway, seems my problem is more related to my files, but i just found a new copy and it gives me the same problem.im going to try and change a few files around
