Still Having a problem with the BIOS!

I have done what it says in the FAQ about deleting the bios files and replacing, in order to get the time and date to save, but still every time I start the bios it asks me for the time and date!

I even deleted the enitre ChanKast folder and started again from scratch (un'rard chanka to the folder, un'rard PAL bios files) and tried again, but still no joy!

Can anyone think of a reason?

And I know its still an alpha!

Redump or redownload the BIOS files and replace your BIOS files with them (do not use the BIOS files you already have even if they are compressed). I remember that the emulator was working for you, what happened?

It does still work, I have always had this problem, but i can still run games! :p

The compressed bios files I have are in a Completley different folder, does that matter?

I will hunt around for a new bios on the net!!

Maybe the prob will be fixed in a later version of the emu!

Thanks for the help!!

Yeap, it seems that Chankast has some configuration problems. It happened for me a couple of times too with the previous version. So there is not a real solution, but since you're able to run games it doesn't matter. :)

Wouldn't it make a difference for time depandant games like shenmue?

I haven't actually played the entire game so I may be talking arse!
