I noticed that the 3 major titles in 3D fighting on the Dreamcast(SC,DOA2,VF3tb) are slow even on my 3GHz... Do they all work on the same 3D engine, so if chanka is updated to speed up one of those three the rest will automaticly speed up?

I think if authors optimize emu code even more then yes... BTW all 3D fighters work well on my system - SC at 60fps with 116% SH4 and DoA2 at 32FPS with SH4 80%...

??? SC is max 37fps no matter what I put the cpu on and DOA2 max 23fps

Can't say I got a slow machine :S

On my computer, SC is running at 40 fps if I set the cpu to 150 or over.

I can't believe it's working at full speed on a 1700+...

lol - guys in my profile writen [email protected] and H3ad5h0tter is right - its about 3400+ in PR. So its no wonder why you with 1800+ have only 35fps :p If you dont believe i can post some screens - fps is ALWAYS about 60 with SH4 at 116%

His CPU is OC'ed to 3400+ level or something , I found this out in an old discussion....

was going to say, because the 1700+s are good overclockers

don't worry about speed though, you can use cd images to speed things up if you want to :)
