SOA text problems

I finally got SOA to work but after a while of gameplay I have come across a minor problem. Whenever text comes up it is just a jumble of words. Did Ireimage the game wrong or is their perhaps somehting like a patch I need to fix this.

If you are in full screen go to window mode and vice versa. That should fix the weird text. Then go back to the display mode you were in before.

Hmm or you can alt tab into another program I've found that works as well.
