Everytime I go underwater in banjo kazooie the whole screen turns black. Help?

Mupen64 0.5.1 is no longer being supported. You should try Mupen64Plus v1.3 - I know that Banjo Kazooie works with Rice video and I think the other plugins as well.

I think hactarux is still around and still working on mupen64 as he has time, so it isn't "unsupported" really? As for the banjo kazooie problem, I am uncertain - what is your computer and video card information and emulator settings such as video plugin?
