Slow jerky graphics in windowed mode?

Hi, when i try to run Pj64 1.5 in windowed mode i get about 10fps, when i run in fullscreen mode i get a constant 60fps, when i first tried it it worked like a charm both in windowed mode and fullscreen, but then it suddenly began to run extremely slow in windowed mode, anyone know what it could be?

I tried deleting all entries in the registry but it didn't do anything.
It's not a big thing, i can run fullscreen but it's just wierd when it worked before

Specs:
Asus A7N8X Deluxe Nforce2
AthlonXP 2600+
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
512 DDR RAM

i dont know why it was ok before and it isnt now, did you upgrade some drivers or something?

all i know is that windowed often takes more power because it has to render the games and also show the rest of your screen and while fullscreen it only has to do the game.

I figured it out, it was becasue i had turned down hardware acceleration one notch, now it's all good again!
