Shenmue 2 sound issues

Hi all,

This is my first post so first of all kudos to everyone whos posts here. The Dreamcast was an exceptional console and I too will miss it for years to come.

Second and the reason I came to this forum is that Im having trouble getting Shenmue 2 to run soothly on Chankast. Its very playable but the music doesn't play
correctly. Everytime I enter a new area in the game the correct music starts to play but gets stuck in a loop creating a monotonous drone for the whole time I play in that specific area.

Is there any way I can tweak this? Could it be that my sound card is not up to the task?

Most problems in games emulated in Chankast are Chankast's own fault, and can't be fixed. AFAIK, this is one of those problems.

You can always try the game in another emulator e.g. nullDC and see if that fixes things.
