I started playing and the intro video came up ok but only half the game screen was shown when I started the game.

Check the attachment for the picture.
How do I solve this?

PS I trie other emulators too but to no avail

What game? Most likely you can't solve it, or then either your graphics card drivers or the CD image itself is corrupt.
