I noticed the problem when I was trying to add new games via editing the RDB files.
I think there is two way to know the ROM's CRC1 & CRC2 values. The one is right-click the game entry and then select the Properties, the other way is adding the CRC1 & CRC2 fields into ROM browser which will then show the two values.
I found that the two ways will get different results
take the NEW ZELDA master quest for example. The properties windows show the CRC1 and CRC2 as 0x1D4135F3 and 0xAF62EDA9, but in Rom Browser, they are 0x1D4136F3 and 0xAF63EEA9.
very slightly difference.
Is it one of bugs of PJ64? or is the calculating method different?
By the way,the RDB file can only recognize the ones ROM browser shows,so,I think, the ones the properties windows shows are wrong.
